Telugu actor Vishwak Sen has issued an apology to his fans after a planned photo session became difficult to manage amid an overwhelming turnout. Acknowledging the disappointment of those who waited but could not get an opportunity to meet him, the actor shared an open letter on social media, promising to organise another session with better planning and crowd management.

Sharing the note with the caption “With love and gratitude,” Vishwak addressed fans and well-wishers, expressing regret over the inconvenience caused during the event. He explained that the response had exceeded expectations, leaving the organisers unable to accommodate everyone who had gathered for photographs.

“My Dear fans & wellwishers, I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused during the planned fan photo session,” he began.

The actor acknowledged that the turnout reflected the affection and enthusiasm of his supporters, but admitted that the arrangements were not sufficient to handle the crowd. According to his statement, he managed to meet a few fans before the situation became difficult to control.

“I meet a few of you, and in the process, things unfortunately went out of control while managing the crowd,” he wrote, expressing regret that the event could not provide everyone with an equal opportunity to meet him and take a photograph.

Vishwak also recognised the disappointment of fans who had patiently waited but ultimately had to leave without getting their pictures. He said it was upsetting to know that many supporters had returned disappointed despite making the effort to attend the session.

The actor took responsibility for acknowledging the shortcomings in the arrangements and assured fans that steps would be taken to prevent a similar situation in the future. He promised another fan photo session soon, with improved planning, more effective crowd management and arrangements designed to make the experience safer and more comfortable.

“We are committed to organising another fan photo session soon, with improved planning, better crowd management, and proper arrangements to ensure a more comfortable, safe, and memorable experience for everyone,” the statement read.

The message has drawn attention to the challenges of managing large gatherings of enthusiastic fans, particularly when turnout exceeds expectations. While such interactions offer actors an opportunity to connect personally with their supporters, they also require adequate planning to ensure that everyone can participate safely and fairly.

Vishwak's apology also comes at a significant point in his professional career, with his upcoming film Cult scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 30, 2026.

The action drama and slasher film features Vishwak in the lead role, with the actor also taking on writing and directing responsibilities. The project is set against the backdrop of a chaotic party in Goa and is being positioned as an ambitious genre outing in Telugu cinema.

The cast includes Gayatri Bharadwaj and Yagnya Turlapati, while Ravi Basrur is composing the music. Filmmaker Tharun Bhascker has contributed the dialogues. The film is planned as a multilingual release, with Telugu, Hindi, Spanish, Japanese and English among the languages mentioned for its release.

For now, the actor's message has put the focus on his relationship with his fans and his promise to make the next interaction more organised. He concluded by thanking supporters for their patience, understanding and continued encouragement, emphasising that their affection means a great deal to him.
