Bollywood screenwriting legend Salim Khan, father of actor Salman Khan, has reportedly shown significant improvement after nearly three weeks in Lilavati Hospital and is expected to be discharged later this week. The news comes as a relief to his family and colleagues in the film industry who have been closely following his recovery.

The 88-year-old veteran writer was admitted on February 17 after doctors discovered a clot in his brain. On February 18, he underwent a successful Digital Subtraction Angiography (DSA) procedure performed by a neurosurgeon. Reports confirm that the procedure went smoothly, and Salim Khan has been stable and responsive throughout his stay. He was also monitored in the Intensive Care Unit initially, ensuring close supervision during the critical phase of his treatment.

Family sources indicate that the last few weeks have been emotionally challenging, particularly for Salman Khan, but Salim Khan’s condition has steadily improved. If the positive trend continues, he is expected to be discharged within the next three to four days, marking a major milestone in his recovery.

The update on his health has eased concerns among industry peers, with several prominent figures, including Aamir Khan, extending their support and good wishes for his safe return home. The gesture highlights the solidarity and close bonds within Bollywood, especially during personal crises.

Salim Khan’s recovery is a testament to his resilience and the dedicated medical care he has received. Fans and colleagues alike are eagerly awaiting his discharge, looking forward to seeing the celebrated screenwriter back in good health and spirits.
