It’s nostalgia with a groove! The original Boogie Woogie gang  Jaaved Jaaferi, Naved Jafri, and Ravi Behl are back on the dance floor, and this time they’re grooving to 3 Shaukk, the latest song from De De Pyaar De 2. Joining them is Jaaved’s son, actor Meezaan Jafri, who’s winning hearts with his effortless moves and charming screen presence.

Meezaan, who will be seen alongside Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh in De De Pyaar De 2, shared a new Instagram reel that took the internet by storm. In the video, he’s seen dancing with his father Jaaved and the legendary Boogie Woogie duo Naved Jafri and Ravi Behl. Together, they recreate the vibrant energy that once made Boogie Woogie a staple of every Indian household.

The highlight? The quartet wraps up the video by performing the iconic Boogie Woogie signature step -a move that instantly transported fans back to the golden era of Indian television.

Within hours, the video went viral, with fans flooding the comments section. Actor Shilpa Shetty wrote, “Soo cool... The OGs Boogie-ing!” while Ayushmann Khurrana simply said, “With the OGs.” One fan captured the sentiment perfectly: “Meezan is young, but the OGs stole the show!”

Meezaan’s creative approach to promoting 3 Shaukk is being widely appreciated. Instead of a typical song launch or media campaign, the young actor tapped into his father’s legacy and India’s nostalgia for Boogie Woogie, the dance reality show that ran from 1996 to 2014 and defined a generation of performers.

3 Shaukk is sung by Avvy Sra and Karan Aujla, penned by Jaani and Karan, with music composed by Avvy Sra. The high-energy choreography is helmed by Ganesh Acharya, and it perfectly complements Meezaan’s infectious rhythm.

The song marks a fun father-son collaboration between Jaaved Jaaferi and Meezaan, both of whom feature in De De Pyaar De 2, directed by Anshul Sharma. The much-awaited romantic comedy also stars Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh, and R. Madhavan in key roles. The film is set to release in theaters on November 14.

For many fans, the reunion of Jaaved, Naved, and Ravi Behl isn’t just about a song it’s about reliving their childhood. The trio’s return has sparked a wave of nostalgia online, with comments calling for a Boogie Woogie reboot.

If there’s one thing this viral dance proves, it’s that legends don’t fade  they just find a new beat to dance to. And with 3 Shaukk, the Boogie Woogie magic is grooving into a new generation.
