Warner Bros has unveiled the full official trailer for The Conjuring: Last Rites, the highly anticipated fourth installment in the Conjuring franchise and the next terrifying chapter in the iconic cinematic universe. Directed by franchise veteran Michael Chaves (The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, The Nun II), this sequel brings Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson back together as Ed and Lorraine Warren for their most harrowing — and final — case.
Set in the 1980s, The Conjuring: Last Rites centers on the Warrens facing a terrifying spiritual adversary unlike any they’ve encountered before. The film also introduces new faces to the franchise’s lore, with Mia Tomlinson and Ben Hardy playing Judy Warren — Ed and Lorraine’s daughter — and her boyfriend Tony Spera, who become entangled in the unfolding supernatural crisis. The cast also features Steve Coulter, Rebecca Calder, Elliot Cowan, Kíla Lord Cassidy, Beau Gadsdon, John Brotherton, and Shannon Kook.
The story is based on real events investigated by the Warrens and features a screenplay by Ian Goldberg, Richard Naing, and David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, from a story by Johnson-McGoldrick and franchise creator James Wan.
