The second day of the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week in New Delhi was a visual treat as actor Veer Pahariya turned showstopper for the renowned designer duo, Abraham & Thakore. Dressed in an elegant all-white traditional outfit, Veer embodied the brand’s philosophy—modern style deeply rooted in Indian heritage. His confident walk perfectly showcased the label’s signature blend of simplicity, structure, and subtle sophistication.

Abraham & Thakore’s latest collection, Warp & Weft, drew inspiration from mosaic patterns, basket weaves, and traditional dhoti drapes. The collection reinterpreted classic ikat techniques through a meticulous process that took over 480 hours of handloom weaving. Each garment told a story of craftsmanship, rhythm, and texture, celebrating the intricate relationship between tradition and innovation.

On the runway, each piece struck a beautiful balance between flow and form, making it clear why Abraham & Thakore remain leaders in India’s sustainable fashion narrative. Their designs paid homage to the past while embracing contemporary aesthetics—a true reflection of India’s evolving style culture.

The fashion week, which began on October 8 and runs until October 12, continues to spotlight some of the country’s most talented designers and rising stars.

Beyond the ramp, Veer Pahariya has also been making waves in Bollywood. Earlier this year, he made his film debut in Sky Force, sharing the screen with Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan, and Nimrat Kaur.
