Panorama Studios has entered into a strategic partnership with Phars Film for the exclusive overseas worldwide distribution of four upcoming Malayalam films. The collaboration aims to significantly expand the international reach of Malayalam cinema through focused global marketing and exhibition across key territories.
Under the agreement, Phars Film will handle overseas distribution and exhibition for the four titles, ensuring a unified and targeted rollout in international markets. The deal reflects Panorama Studios’ growing emphasis on strengthening its presence in the global regional cinema space.
The four-film slate includes Anomie, scheduled for release on February 6, Drishyam 3, set for an April 2 release, TikiTaka, and an untitled project currently referred to as Panorama Studios’ Production No. 3. The lineup brings together a mix of franchise-driven content and standalone commercial entertainers.
Anomie, starring Tovino Thomas, has already generated early buzz, while Drishyam 3, led by Mohanlal, continues one of Malayalam cinema’s most successful thriller franchises, which has previously recorded over USD 50 million in overseas earnings across earlier installments. TikiTaka, headlined by Asif Ali, adds an action-driven title to the slate.
Announcing the collaboration, Panorama Studios highlighted the partnership as one built on vision, scale, and storytelling, with a shared objective of taking Malayalam cinema to audiences worldwide. The studios emphasized their commitment to elevating regional content on the international stage.
The deal follows Panorama Studios’ recent expansion in the Malayalam film industry, including earlier distribution tie-ups and a large-scale production slate.
