SLV Cinemas has officially announced that the first look of their much-awaited film The Paradise will be unveiled on August 8, with not one but two time slots for the reveal — 10:05 AM and 5:05 PM. The poster announcement, featuring the line “He never had a name, until they gave him one,” has already stirred intrigue across social media, building serious anticipation for what appears to be a deeply layered character drama.
Starring Nani in the lead as Dhagad, the film is directed by Srikanth Odela, who previously helmed the critically acclaimed Dasara. Set in 1980s Secunderabad, The Paradise explores the story of a neglected tribe, stripped of identity and dignity, as they fight for recognition and citizenship. Nani’s character is said to rise from the ashes of this injustice, embodying both raw rage and restrained resilience — a role that's likely to be one of his most intense performances to date.
With music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, the film is set to blend haunting storytelling with a stirring soundscape. A supporting cast that includes Raghav Juyal, and a powerhouse crew featuring editor Navin Nooli and production designer Avinash Kolla, ensures that The Paradise isn’t just built for mass appeal — it’s crafted for cinematic depth.
Adding to its bold vision is its eight-language release — Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, English, and Spanish — marking one of the most ambitious theatrical launches in recent Indian film history. The first installment of this two-part saga will arrive in cinemas on March 26, 2026.
While the teaser campaign has so far leaned into mystery and minimalism, the August 8 first look is expected to blow the lid off the film’s tone, style, and possibly, its political undertones. For Nani, who continues to reinvent himself with each role, The Paradise could very well be a defining moment — not just as a star, but as a voice for stories that challenge, provoke, and inspire.
