While November 2 is synonymous with Shah Rukh Khan’s grand birthday festivities, another Bollywood star-in-the-making also shares the date with the King of Bollywood. Shanaya Kapoor, daughter of actor Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor, marked her special day this year in true minimalist style — a celebration filled with warmth, laughter, and luxury, minus the extravagance.
Taking to Instagram, Shanaya treated her followers to what she called “the only photos” from her birthday. The actress, who turned 26 this year, was seen soaking in the sunshine aboard a chic mini yacht, radiating effortless elegance in her candid snapshots. One picture showed her sharing a sweet moment with her pet dog, perfectly capturing the intimate, laid-back essence of her day.
In her caption, Shanaya wrote, “The only birthday photos I took this year, my camera roll couldn’t keep up with the fun!! Thank u for all the love!” The post struck a chord with fans, who flooded the comments section with warm wishes and admiration for her understated yet classy celebration.
Her father, Sanjay Kapoor, also joined in the celebrations with a heartfelt tribute on Instagram. On the professional front, Shanaya is steadily carving her own niche in the industry. After her debut in Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan alongside Vikrant Massey — where her performance drew praise despite the film’s modest box-office run the young actress is gearing up for her next venture, Tu Yaa Main. Directed by Bejoy Nambiar and produced under Aanand L. Rai’s Colour Yellow Productions and Vinod Bhanushali’s Bhanushali Studios, the film pairs her opposite The White Tiger actor Adarsh Gourav.
There’s also buzz that Shanaya might be taking on a double role in Student of the Year 3, though the project is yet to be officially confirmed.
