The highly anticipated war drama Border 2 has found its leading lady. Rising actress Medha Rana has officially joined the star-studded cast, taking on the female lead role opposite Varun Dhawan. The announcement was made by T-Series on social media, welcoming the "charming and beautiful new talent" to a film that promises to be a grand saga of courage and patriotism.

Directed by Anurag Singh and produced by Bhushan Kumar, the film aims to be a worthy successor to the 1997 cult classic Border, directed by J.P. Dutta, which dramatized the historic Battle of Longewala during the 1971 Indo-Pak war.
Medha Rana, best known for her lead role in London Files and appearances in true-crime docuseries on Amazon Prime, marks her major Bollywood debut with Border 2. Her casting signals a fresh injection of talent into a film otherwise dominated by star power, including Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, and Varun Dhawan.
