Tusshar Kapoor has officially wrapped up the shoot for Masti 4, the fourth instalment in the wildly popular adult comedy franchise. Taking to Instagram to mark the moment, the actor shared a nostalgic video from his ferry ride back from Madh Island, writing:
“Another movie wraps up in Madh Island and I’m back to beating the traffic on my favourite Versova Jetty! Like a ritual, I’m also back to posting a video of my own on the ferry! Feeling nostalgic? Me too!”#masti4 #wrap #versovajetty #madhisland
For fans of the franchise, this post is more than just a wrap-up — it’s a sign that the outrageous, over-the-top humour of the Masti series is ready to make a comeback. Directed by Milap Zaveri, Masti 4 brings back the OG trio — Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh, and Aftab Shivdasani — who have been the comic core of the franchise since its inception. Joining the madness this time are Elnaaz Norouzi and Ruhii Singh, who are expected to play pivotal roles in this new chapter of chaos, confusion, and cheeky comedy. The film is being produced under an impressive banner lineup, including Zee Studios, Waveband Production, Maruti International, and Balaji Motion Pictures — a dream team when it comes to delivering mass entertainers with commercial appeal. Behind the scenes, the production has been powered by A. Jhunjhunwala and Shikha Karan Ahluwalia of Waveband Production, in association with Indra Kumar, Ashok Thakeria, Shobha Kapoor, and Ekta Kapoor.
For anyone needing a refresher — the Masti franchise kicked off in 2004 with Masti, a film that introduced Indian audiences to a bold new brand of buddy comedy laced with adult humour. The success was undeniable, leading to two sequels — Grand Masti in 2013 and Great Grand Masti in 2016. Each entry brought with it a new level of absurdity, risqué one-liners, and plotlines that stretched the imagination — and the audience’s laughter limits. Now, after nearly a decade, the fourth film is all set to push the envelope once again.
While Tusshar Kapoor wasn’t part of the earlier Masti films, his inclusion in Masti 4 adds a fresh energy to the mix.
With Masti 4, audiences can expect a film that stays true to the franchise's roots — unapologetically silly, full of innuendo-laced humour, and packed with punchlines that leave you either laughing or gasping. Add to that a new cast mix, a returning trio, and Milap Zaveri’s signature masala direction, and we’re in for a wild ride.
As Tusshar puts the wrap stamp on another film and cruises away from Madh Island, fans are left eagerly waiting to see just how outrageous this next chapter will be. Stay tuned — because the Masti madness is about to return. And it’s louder, crazier, and bolder than ever before.
