At Myntra’s glitzy Evening of Style event in Mumbai last night, Khushi Kapoor took a moment to reflect on something fans don’t often see—the reality behind the glamour. Speaking to the media, the young starlet shared her thoughts on why behind-the-scenes (BTS) moments are just as exciting, if not more, than the polished final photos or film scenes. “I think the impression is that film shoots and photo shoots are extremely glamorous… but it would be exciting for people to see what actually goes behind getting the perfect picture,” she said.
Candid and refreshingly honest, Khushi recalled instances where things were far from picture-perfect. “For example, if you’re doing a shoot in a pool, surrounded by water all the time, what people don’t see between the shots is that you’re drenched, water is coming out of my nose,” she laughed. “It’s not just one person—it’s the whole team that works together to create a perfect picture or shot.” Her words struck a chord with many young fans and creators who look up to the film industry from the outside.
Khushi Kapoor, daughter of the legendary Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor, has quickly carved a space for herself in the industry. After her debut as Betty Cooper in The Archies (2023), she’s taken on light-hearted roles in romantic comedies like Loveyapa and Nadaaniyan, both released in 2025. With a growing fanbase and strong screen presence, she was also featured in GQ’s “35 Most Influential Young Indians” list in 2024, a nod to her rising influence both on-screen and off.
By sharing the messy, human side of glamorous shoots, Khushi offers a refreshing perspective in an age obsessed with perfection. Her openness about the effort, discomfort, and teamwork that goes into each “perfect shot” is not only relatable but also empowering. As she continues to grow in her career, it’s clear Khushi Kapoor is as committed to authenticity as she is to artistry.
