Khushi Kapoor lit up the runway as she turned showstopper for ace designer Rimzim Dadu on Day 7 of Hyundai India Couture Week 2025 in Delhi. The young actress and fashion darling stunned in a futuristic two-piece ensemble that captured the essence of Dadu’s bold, sculptural aesthetic.
Khushi wore a halter-neck bralette-style blouse with a striking metallic texture, reflecting hues of silver and grey. The neckline was enhanced with a choker-style necklace that seamlessly matched the blouse's tone, adding to the visual drama of the look. She paired it with a tailored metallic grey skirt, fitted to perfection, creating a cohesive silhouette that was both edgy and elegant.
The collection, inspired by Gujarat’s Banjara tribes, is a reimagining of traditional Indian craftsmanship through modern design lenses. Dadu’s signature use of steel wires, metallic threads, and custom sculptural textiles transformed classic Patola weaves and mirror work into avant-garde couture. Each piece on the runway fused cultural heritage with high fashion, reinforcing Rimzim Dadu’s position as one of the most innovative voices in Indian couture.
Khushi’s showstopping moment comes on the heels of her recent acting debut in the Netflix film Nadaaniyan, which premiered on March 7, 2025. Co-starring Ibrahim Ali Khan, the film has been gaining buzz for its refreshing storyline and heartfelt performances.
