The film and television fraternity gathered to pay their final respects to veteran actor Dheeraj Kumar, whose last rites were performed in Mumbai. Among the first to arrive at the antim darshan was Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah producer Asit Kumarr Modi, who expressed his condolences to the family and acknowledged Dheeraj’s legacy in shaping Indian television. Also present was actor Balvinder Singh Suri, who came to offer his respects during the somber ceremony.
Filmmaker Anees Bazmee was spotted at the funeral as well, paying homage to the late actor. Bazmee, known for his own successful journey in Hindi cinema, shared a quiet moment with the grieving family and recalled Kumar’s contribution to both the creative and cultural landscape of Indian entertainment.
