Harleen Sethi brought grace, glamour, and a fresh wave of star power to the Bombay Times Fashion Week 2025, making her much-anticipated runway debut as the showstopper for designer Neelam Savla’s label, BASIL LEAF. Donning a mesmerizing deep blue lehenga from the brand’s festive collection Dariya, Harleen exuded confidence and radiance, owning the ramp like she’d been doing it for years.
Inspired by the ocean, Dariya is a poetic blend of fluid silhouettes and intricate sunlit embroidery, designed for the modern bridesmaid with a taste for timeless elegance and versatile style. Harleen’s lehenga—crafted in oceanic hues with subtle shimmer and movement—perfectly reflected the collection’s essence: strong yet serene, contemporary yet rooted in traditional artistry.
But the runway experience didn’t stop at couture. In a unique twist, the Dariya collection is paired with an exclusive range of fragrances by Eze Perfumes, also named Basil Leaf. Much like the garments, these scents are designed to evoke individuality—ranging from delicate whispers to bold olfactory statements. Together, the garments and perfumes offered a multi-sensory fashion moment, blurring the lines between wearing a look and embodying it.
For Harleen, this wasn’t just a walk—it was a milestone. Already recognized for her impactful performances in Broken But Beautiful (2018), Kohrra (2023), Sultan of Delhi (2023), and recent hits like Bad Cop and Doctors in 2024, she is now stepping into the style spotlight. With her debut film Be Happy set to release in 2025, Harleen is clearly poised to conquer not just the screen, but the runway too.
