Farhan Akhtar has dropped the much-anticipated teaser for 120 Bahadur, a gripping war drama inspired by the incredible true story of the Battle of Rezang La — a heroic last stand by 120 Indian soldiers of the 13th Kumaon Regiment during the 1962 Sino-Indian War.
Sharing the teaser on X, Farhan wrote: "Yeh wardi sirf himmat nahin, balidaan bhi maangti hai! Based on the incredible true story is a war forged in snow and sealed with sacrifice. 120 Bahadur, teaser out now. Releasing in cinemas near you on 21st Nov, 2025."
Directed by Razneesh Ghai and produced by Excel Entertainment in collaboration with Trigger Happy Studios, 120 Bahadur stars Farhan Akhtar in the lead role as Major Shaitan Singh, the legendary officer who led his men with unmatched courage against insurmountable odds. Major Singh was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra, India’s highest wartime gallantry award, for his extraordinary leadership and sacrifice during the battle.
Set against the brutal winter of the Himalayan terrain, 120 Bahadur recounts how 120 soldiers held off over 3,000 Chinese troops in one of the most defining yet under-recognized battles in Indian military history. The teaser gives a chilling glimpse of snow-covered trenches, unyielding patriotism, and the grim reality of war — promising a film that’s both emotionally stirring and visually commanding.
The ensemble cast includes Rashi Khanna, Sparsh Walia, Ajinkya Deo, Eijaz Khan, Vivan Bhatena, Ankit Siwach, Ashutosh Shukla, Atul Singh, Brijesh Karanwal, Devendra Ahirwar, Dhanveer Singh, Digvijay Pratap, Sahib Verma, and Arhan Bagati, among others.
