Speaking about his experience of being part of the much-awaited war epic, Ahaan described the journey as nothing short of overwhelming.
Talking about featuring in “Ae Jaate Hue Lamhon – Part 2,” a song that holds legendary status since the original Border, Ahan shared how surreal the moment felt for him. “This is a very, very special moment for me. Being a part of this film, and then after Sandese Aate Hain, and now Ae Jaate Hue Lamhon, it’s incredibly, incredibly special.” The emotion in his words reflected the weight of legacy he carries not just as an actor, but as Suniel Shetty’s son, stepping into a film that shaped an entire generation’s understanding of patriotism on screen.
Ahan made it a point to acknowledge the people who shaped his journey long before the cameras started rolling. “I want to say thank you to my papa and mummy. I am who I am because of them.”
One of the most touching aspects of Ahaan’s experience, he revealed, was the unwavering support he received from his co-stars especially Sunny Deol, the backbone of the Border franchise. “Sunny sir has been such an incredible support system for me throughout this film. Without him, this film simply would not be possible.” Ahan also spoke warmly about Varun Dhawan, highlighting the bond they formed during the shoot.“Varun is a gem of a person like an older brother.” Equally heartfelt were his words for Diljit Dosanjh, whom he praised for his humility and warmth. “Diljit is so humble, so down to earth, and extremely supportive.”
Summing up the atmosphere on set, Ahaan emphasized how welcomed and protected he felt through every phase of the journey. “Everyone has been very supportive of me — very loving and very caring throughout this entire journey.”
