With Father’s Day just around the corner, Sunny Deol shared his candid thoughts on the celebration, emphasizing the value of family every single day. Known for being deeply close to his father, veteran superstar Dharmendra, Sunny dismissed the idea of dedicating just one day to honor parents. “White people told us about Father’s Day,” he said with a smile, “I’d say every day is Father’s Day, every day is Parents’ Day, it’s the same every day.”
Sunny Deol has shared the screen with both his father Dharmendra and brother Bobby Deol in popular films like Apne and Yamla Pagla Deewana. Fans have long awaited another reunion of the Deol trio, and when asked about the possibility of a new film together, Sunny revealed, “We are trying, but we need a subject. Whether it’s Apne or Yamla Pagla Deewana, if a subject like this comes our way, we will most certainly do something together. We’re discussing things right now, but I don’t think it’s right to talk about it now. If and when something materializes, we will make the announcement.”
Sunny also spoke about his role in Nitesh Tiwari’s ambitious Ramayana project. “I have not shot for the film yet, but I am going to be shooting soon. The makers announced it will be made in Part 1 and Part 2, and I hope we make it in a way that everyone likes,” he said. He praised Prime Focus, the visual effects team behind the film, expressing confidence that the special effects and realism will captivate audiences. “The script is good, what can I say about it,” he added.
Currently, Sunny Deol is juggling multiple projects including Jaat 2, Lahore 1947, Border 2, Ramayana Part 1, and Safar. With a busy slate ahead and the possibility of a Deol family film reunion on the horizon, fans have plenty to look forward to.
