What do you get when Telugu cinema’s big guns join hands with Dharma Productions - You get Mirai!! A full-blown, myth-soaked, superhero adventure that’s about to fly into cinemas on September 5, 2025. With a poster that screams action and a plot pulled straight out of India’s ancient past, Mirai promises a thrilling cinematic cocktail of legend, fantasy, and full-throttle fight scenes.

Directed by Karthik Gattamneni, the film stars rising action hero Teja Sajja as Mirai, a young warrior chosen to protect sacred scrolls that can literally turn mortals into gods. But of course, there’s a villain with bad intentions and a killer sword — enter Manchu Manoj Kumar as the menacing Black Sword. Also joining the adventure are Ritika Nayak, Shriya Saran, Jagapati Babu, and Jayaram Subramaniam, forming an ensemble that’s as power-packed as the film’s mythological origins.

The story dips into a legendary secret linked to Emperor Ashoka (yes, that Ashoka), who, as the myth goes, created nine sacred texts after the bloody Kalinga War — texts so powerful they needed a whole army of Yodhas to guard them. Fast-forward to today, and Mirai, our reluctant hero, must pick up the mantle as the next “Super Yodha” to protect this ancient knowledge from falling into the wrong hands. Think Indiana Jones meets Baahubali with a touch of Marvel flair — and you’re just getting started.

What makes this even more exciting is Dharma Productions bringing their Bollywood expertise to the North India release, signaling a rare and ambitious South-North collaboration. The film will be released in Telugu, with dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Bengali, and even Chinese — clearly, Mirai is not just aiming for pan-India appeal, it's going full-on global.

So gear up for a cinematic adventure that blends history, heroism, and heavy-duty action. With Karan Johar backing it and Teja Sajja flying the superhero flag, Mirai might just be the next big thing in Indian superhero cinema. And this time, the hero wears a dhoti, not a cape.
