Acclaimed actor-director Basil Joseph, who recently appeared in a cameo in Sivakarthikeyan’s Parasakthi, is all set to make his Tamil debut as a lead in the upcoming bilingual film Raawadi. The comedy, which is being made in both Tamil and Malayalam, marks a new chapter in Joseph’s career as he transitions from cameos and directorial projects to leading roles in Tamil cinema.
The film is directed by debutant Vignesh Vadivel and stars LK Akshay Kumar, who gained attention for his performance in the Tamil movie Sirai. Akshay, notably, is the son of producer SS Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studio, which is backing the project.
