Bollywood star Ajay Devgn has kicked off the promotional run for his upcoming film Son of Sardaar 2 with the release of its official teaser. Sharing the clip on social media, he wrote, “Sardaar ki entry ka countdown aaj se shuru. Welcome to the madness of Sardaar & Co.” Scheduled to hit cinemas on July 25, 2025, the film marks a return to the eccentric, high-energy world of Son of Sardaar (2012), promising a fresh blend of action, comedy, and chaos.
Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, Son of Sardaar 2 is described as a spiritual sequel rather than a direct continuation of the original. Devgn reprises his role as Jassi, leading a new ensemble cast that includes Mrunal Thakur as Rabia, Ravi Kishan as Raja, and comedy veterans like Sanjay Mishra, Deepak Dobriyal, Chunky Panday, and Neeru Bajwa. The teaser showcases the film’s zany tone, full of over-the-top action, colorful Punjabi flair, and punchy one-liners that pay homage to its predecessor while aiming for a wider audience.
