Bollywood's romance genre gets a fresh twist with the trailer launch of Mohit Suri’s upcoming film, Saiyaara, unveiled earlier today by Yash Raj Films.
Marking the grand debut of Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, Saiyaara promises an emotionally resonant love story that blends youthful passion with deep emotional complexity. The two-minute, forty-three-second trailer introduces us to Krish and Vaani—an aspiring singer and a budding lyricist—who find themselves entangled in a journey where music, love, and heartbreak collide.
Ahaan Panday, stepping into the limelight as Krish Kapoor, portrays a spirited, emotionally intense musician trying to find his voice in a world that isn’t always kind. Aneet Padda plays Vaani, a quiet force of creativity whose words give wings to Krish’s music. As the duo work together, the lines between professional partnership and personal connection blur—and what begins as artistic collaboration soon transforms into something far more vulnerable and intimate.
The trailer hints at a rollercoaster of emotions—from tender glances and soulful melodies to devastating confrontations. It’s clear that Saiyaara won’t be a one-dimensional love story—it digs into emotional wounds, fragile trust, and the volatile beauty of first love. With Saiyaara, director Mohit Suri returns to familiar territory—the deeply emotional musical romance he previously mastered with Aashiqui 2. But this time, he does so with fresh faces and renewed energy.
The film boasts a rich musical lineup, featuring compositions from Mithoon, Sachet-Parampara, Tanishk Bagchi, Vishal Mishra, Rishabh Kant, and more. The lyrics, penned by Irshad Kamil and Mithoon among others, echo the emotional pulse of the narrative, promising a soundtrack that tugs at the heartstrings.
Produced by YRF and helmed by CEO Akshaye Widhani, Saiyaara is a product of years of preparation. Ahaan Panday was groomed under the YRF banner for over six years, while Aneet Padda, last seen in Big Girls Don’t Cry, brings an earnest presence to the screen.
Saiyaara is set to hit theatres on July 18.
