Shah Rukh Khan received a special birthday wish from actor and filmmaker Riteish Deshmukh, who celebrated the superstar with an affectionate social media message. Calling him the “King of all our hearts”, Riteish shared his admiration for SRK and expressed excitement about his upcoming film KING. The birthday post featured personal photographs of the two actors together, offering fans a glimpse of their warm friendship and the bond they share beyond their professional lives.
Taking to X, Riteish penned a heartfelt message for the Bollywood superstar. He wrote, “Happy Birthday Sha Bhai @iamsrk - you are and forever will be the King of all our hearts….Have a tremendous day filled with laughter and love- KING has blockbuster written all over it- can’t wait for the magic to storm the theatres on 24th Dec. I love you !!! #HappyBirthdaySRK” The message was filled with affection, admiration and excitement, with Riteish making it clear that his birthday wish also came with high expectations for SRK's next big-screen outing.
The photographs shared alongside the message made the post even more personal. One picture showed Shah Rukh and Riteish seated together at an event, smiling as they posed for the camera. Another captured a warm group hug featuring SRK, Riteish and his wife Genelia Deshmukh. The candid moment reflected the friendly equation between the actors and highlighted the affection they share. Rather than being just another celebrity birthday greeting, the pictures gave the post a personal touch that fans were quick to appreciate.
Riteish's reference to KING also brought attention to one of the most anticipated upcoming films featuring Shah Rukh Khan. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the action entertainer is scheduled to arrive in theatres worldwide on December 24, 2026. The film features an impressive ensemble cast, including Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone and Abhishek Bachchan, among others. With Siddharth Anand at the helm, expectations are high for an action-packed cinematic experience, and Riteish's confident prediction that the film has a blockbuster written all over it adds to the growing excitement.
The film has already been generating considerable buzz, with its promotional material and music releases timed around Shah Rukh Khan's birthday celebrations. The project is particularly significant as it brings together SRK and his daughter Suhana Khan on the big screen, adding another interesting dimension to the film. Deepika Padukone's presence also makes the casting especially exciting for audiences who have enjoyed her previous collaborations with the superstar. Meanwhile, Abhishek Bachchan's inclusion further strengthens the film's ensemble.
Riteish's birthday message reflects the admiration Shah Rukh Khan continues to receive from colleagues across the film industry. Over the years, SRK has built a reputation not only as one of Indian cinema's biggest stars but also as a personality whose warmth and charisma have earned him friendships across generations. As fans celebrate his birthday, wishes from fellow actors like Riteish add to the festive atmosphere. And with KING heading towards its December 24 release, the superstar has another major cinematic event waiting for audiences. If Riteish's enthusiastic prediction is anything to go by, expectations for the film are already sky-high.
