Bigg Boss 20 contestant Aman Gandhi has opened up about one of the most talked-about moments of his journey inside the house, shedding light on his uncomfortable exchange with Nakul and the circumstances that led to the conversation becoming a major talking point. While viewers initially perceived the interaction as playful banter between the contestants, Aman revealed that the remarks affected him deeply, especially because he was already going through an emotionally difficult phase in the game. In a candid conversation, he explained what happened, why he decided to speak up and how the situation eventually reached a conclusion.
Recalling the incident, Aman said that he initially assumed the conversation was all in good fun. However, his state of mind at the time made the remarks particularly difficult to handle. He explained that it was around the fifth Weekend Ka Vaar when Salman Khan had informed him that he had received the fewest votes. This left him disappointed and questioning his performance in the house. Aman said, “Initially, I also thought it was just all in good fun. But the thing is, I didn't really know the guy that well yet. Also, I was in a very low place.” He added that he was already overthinking whether audiences were connecting with him, which made the exchange even more uncomfortable.
Aman further clarified that the situation changed when the conversation began moving in a direction he was not comfortable with. He pointed out that the contestants were not simply friends hanging out privately but were participating in a reality show watched by millions. Recalling his reaction, he said, “But when it started shifting in a different direction, I said, ‘Look, I know exactly what you're trying to do.’ I was very direct about it—I’m perfectly happy, and there’s no issue.” He also admitted that he felt angry with Scout for encouraging the exchange. According to Aman, he was caught between confronting the situation and choosing not to walk away. He eventually decided to stay and respond rather than leave the conversation.
The Bigg Boss 20 contestant also spoke about what happened after the exchange. Aman revealed that Nakul later approached him and suggested that he could have discussed the matter privately if he had felt uncomfortable. The following day, during the nominations, Nakul acknowledged that he had not realised how much the comments had affected Aman and apologised. Aman accepted the apology and also expressed regret from his side, saying, “You didn’t apologize yesterday, but I’ll accept your apology now. I’m sorry, too.” He felt that the matter eventually ended on a positive note.
Addressing questions about involving Uditi and Arish in the situation, Aman explained that they were his friends and that he had approached them because they were nearby when the incident took place. He wanted to explain why the exchange had made him uncomfortable, particularly because the comments had become sexually intrusive in nature. He also recalled that Manish-ji had appreciated the way he handled the situation and advised him to let the matter rest. Aman said he did not want the incident to become a major issue or turn into a topic during Weekend Ka Vaar.
However, things became complicated when he later tried to speak to Scout about the incident. Aman explained that he had initially wanted a private conversation with Scout, whom he had known for around 35 days, before addressing the matter further with Nakul. But as more contestants joined the discussion near the swimming pool, the conversation unexpectedly turned into a group gathering. He insisted that bringing people together was never his intention. Reflecting on the situation, Aman said, “Honestly, I just felt like having a conversation—that’s all!
