Actor Aasif Khan, who recently exited Bigg Boss 20, has finally opened up about the controversial moments inside the house, his equation with Scout and Love Gill, and the support he believes he gave his fellow contestants. Evicted during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode hosted by Salman Khan, Aasif has offered a detailed account of what viewers may not have seen on television. From repeatedly advising Scout to play independently to sharing an emotional heart-to-heart conversation with Love, the actor has made it clear that his experience inside the house was more complicated than what made it to the screen.

Aasif was evicted after receiving the fewest audience votes among the nominated contestants, which included Uditi Singh, Arishfa Khan, ScoutOP, Aamrapali Dubey and Kanika Mann. Following his exit, he was asked about the difficult final two weeks in the house, particularly the situation involving Scout and Love. The discussion had attracted attention after Salman Khan and Rohit Shetty reportedly questioned whether the contestants had explained their concerns to Scout clearly enough. Addressing the issue, Aasif insisted that his comments were about the game and Scout's approach to it, rather than any personal hostility.

Explaining why he felt Scout needed to reconsider his partnership, Aasif said, “Well, look—both of them were comfortable with the situation. When Salman Sir asked Love, "Do you interact with your own brother in the same way?" she replied, "Yes, I do." If you had asked anyone else in the house before that episode, they would have told you, without a doubt, that the two shared a purely brother-sister relationship. That’s the first point. Secondly, when Salman Sir asked, she simply gave her answer. From my perspective—as an outside observer—I shared my thoughts. It’s not as if we’ve been friends for 26 years; we only met for the first time 50 days ago. Given that, I tried to explain that, in terms of the game, you seem overly concerned about the person you’ve paired up with. This attachment significantly impacts your decision-making and prevents your true gameplay from shining through. I feel you should move on from that partnership and play as an individual—as a solo player.”

Aasif further claimed that his advice to Scout was not a one-time conversation. According to the evicted contestant, he had tried to make the same point several times, even if those discussions did not appear in the episodes or live feeds. He also addressed the criticism surrounding Kashish's decision to raise the issue, drawing a comparison with accountability in his own marriage. Aasif said, “The player should have played—and I’m not just saying this once; I had explained it to him at least seven or eight times. It’s unfortunate that perhaps this wasn’t shown on TV or in the live feed, but I had explained it to him many times. Later, when Kashish brought it up and called it out, that was her own individual choice.”

He then made his position on personal responsibility particularly clear, bringing his wife Zeba into the discussion as an example. Aasif added, “If I take an action and Zeba—my wife, by the way—finds it wrong, then that is my responsibility. How I choose to handle that is up to me; no third party can step in and decide who is right or wrong. No, that is my responsibility. I would tell my wife, "Please, tell me directly—don't involve a third person." I am the one accountable to you, not anyone else. And I’m certainly not a small child.” His remarks suggest that he believes disagreements should be addressed directly by the people involved, rather than being settled through outside intervention.

The conversation then shifted to another major moment from the house. Aasif was asked about Salman Khan's observation that the contestants had not supported Love Gill enough during an emotionally difficult phase, with several housemates appearing to side with Scout instead. Aasif strongly disagreed with that impression and insisted that he had been there for Love when she needed someone to listen. He recalled that Love had become unusually quiet and emotionally overwhelmed after the nomination process, eventually breaking down and expressing feelings she had been holding inside.

Describing the conversation that followed, Aasif said, “No, I mean when Love Gill was emotionally shattered. He was behaving quite differently—he had even gone very quiet. Actually, I supported him a great deal. When you interview Luv, please do ask him about it. Once the entire nomination process concluded, Love cried a lot and let out everything she had been holding inside; she handled the situation very positively. She didn’t say anything directly to me—her comments were directed at others—but what she said really touched my heart. She was in the kitchen preparing food, and I went and sat with her—I’m not sure if you all saw that—and we talked for about half an hour to an hour. I became quite emotional during the conversation.”

Aasif went on to reveal what he told Love during that lengthy conversation. Rather than encouraging her to react angrily or get caught up in arguments, he urged her to turn the difficult situation into an opportunity to show her strength and individuality. He said, “I explained to her, "Love, this is the best opportunity for you to truly shine. In life, there are moments when you are expected to show patience; by demonstrating a big heart toward those around you, you move forward. That is how a legend is born—by doing something that no one expected of you." I told her, "At a moment when everyone thought you would lash out in anger, you instead offered well-wishes to your friends, saying you only wanted the best for them. This will create a very positive image of you, and if you continue in this manner as an individual player, you will build a dedicated, cult-like fan following."”

The actor also shared that their discussion went beyond the immediate house drama. They spoke about their families, and Aasif even opened up about a personal story involving his father. Recalling how emotional the conversation became, he added, “We discussed many things—including our families; I even shared a personal story about my father. We both became quite emotional—it was a truly meaningful moment. I believe I explained things to her in a very constructive way; that is simply my way of supporting someone. Beyond this, I’m not sure what other kind of support there could be.”

Aasif's comments offer a different perspective on the relationships and disagreements that shaped the final weeks of his Bigg Boss 20 journey. While the Weekend Ka Vaar discussion raised questions about how the contestants handled Scout and Love's situation, Aasif maintains that he tried to guide Scout towards independent gameplay and personally supported Love during an emotional moment. His claim that he explained his concerns to Scout seven or eight times, along with his account of the long conversation with Love, adds another dimension to the show's house dynamics. Now that Aasif has left the competition, viewers will be watching closely to see how Scout, Love and the other contestants respond to his version of events.
