The much-anticipated film Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan has officially wrapped up its shoot, with lead actors Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor sharing their excitement in a behind-the-scenes (BTS) video. The official ZEE5 handle posted a fun video of the duo enjoying the process in Europe’s freezing weather, while also teasing the movie's themes of love, deception, and surprise. The caption, "Love, Deception & Surprise – A package on your way," promises an intriguing cinematic experience, heightening excitement for the movie’s release. Fans can look forward to seeing these rising stars on the big screen soon.
Directed by Santosh Singh, Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan is based on Ruskin Bond’s beloved short story, The Eyes Have It, and marks the Bollywood debut of Shanaya Kapoor. In the film, Shanaya will play a theatre artist, while Vikrant portrays a blind musician, offering both actors a chance to explore new, compelling roles. The story’s blend of romance, betrayal, and unexpected twists promises to offer a fresh perspective on relationships. The script is penned by the acclaimed Niranjan Iyengar and Mansi Bagla, who bring their narrative depth to the project.
The film is produced by Mansi and Varun Bagla’s Mini Films, marking their second collaboration with Vikrant Massey after the remake of Forensic. Shanaya’s debut with this film comes after her initial planned debut in Karan Johar’s Bedhadak, which was shelved. Along with Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, Shanaya is also set to appear in Dharma Productions’ Student of the Year web series, further establishing her in the industry.
As for Vikrant Massey, his career continues to soar, with the actor currently working on Rajkumar Hirani’s upcoming web series. This yet-to-be-titled project was recently shot in Goa, adding another exciting project to his roster.
