Bollywood heartthrob Varun Dhawan was spotted at Mumbai airport early this morning, turning heads in an effortlessly cool all-black look. Dressed in a black t-shirt, black jacket, and black tracks paired with white sneakers, a black cap, and dark shades, the actor cut a stylish figure as he returned from the overseas schedule of his much-anticipated film, Hain Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai.

The film, directed by his father David Dhawan, is reportedly a nostalgic nod to the golden era of 90s Bollywood rom-coms. The title is inspired by the peppy track “Ishq Sona Hai” from the 1999 hit Biwi No.1, which also starred Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor, and Sushmita Sen — and was, in fact, helmed by David Dhawan himself.

While the plot details are still tightly under wraps, Hain Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai is expected to deliver a feel-good, vibrant love story with the unmistakable charm of classic Bollywood. The film is being produced by Ramesh Taurani under the TIPS Films banner, and though a release date hasn’t yet been confirmed, buzz around the project is already building strong momentum.

Meanwhile, Varun is also reuniting with Janhvi Kapoor in Shashank Khaitan’s upcoming rom-com Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. The duo, who were last seen together in the 2023 romantic drama Bawaal, is expected to bring their chemistry back to the big screen with a film packed with laughter, drama, and relatable relationship dynamics.

The film also stars Sanya Malhotra, Abhinav Sharma, Maniesh Paul, and Manini Chadha in pivotal roles, adding depth and diversity to the cast.

In yet another high-profile project, Varun will step into the role of Param Vir Chakra awardee Major Hoshiar Singh Dahiya in Border 2, directed by Anurag Singh. The film is the official sequel to the iconic 1997 war epic and boasts an ensemble cast including Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty. The film is expected to be a patriotic, action-packed tribute to Indian armed forces and one of the biggest productions on the horizon.

With a stellar lineup of diverse films across romance, comedy, and intense drama, Varun Dhawan seems all set to dominate the big screen once again. From playful romance in Hain Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai to gritty valor in Border 2, 2025 is shaping up to be a defining year in the actor’s already impressive career.

Fans are watching closely — and from the airport clicks to his film choices, it’s clear: Varun’s back, and Bollywood is better for it.
