Sri Venkateswara Creations announced that the Telugu hit Sankranthiki Vasthunam has been officially selected for the Indian Panorama (Feature Films) at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2025. This recognition marks a significant achievement for the film, which set new benchmarks in regional Telugu cinema.
Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the action-comedy stars Venkatesh, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Meenakshi Chaudhary, supported by P. Sai Kumar, VTV Ganesh, Sarvadaman D. Banerjee, Upendra Limaye, and Srinivas Avasarala. The film’s music is composed by Bheems Ceciroleo, with cinematography by Sameer Reddy, and it was produced under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations.
Sankranthiki Vasthunam (transl. We Are Coming for Sankranthi) released on 14 January 2025, coinciding with the Sankranti festival. Shot across locations including Rajahmundry, Hyderabad, Kasaragod, Dehradun, Mussoorie, and Rishikesh, the film earned positive reviews from critics and audiences alike. With worldwide collections between ₹258–300 crore, it became the second-highest grossing Telugu film of the year, solidifying its place in contemporary Telugu cinema.
