Hulu has dropped the official trailer for Never Change, an upcoming comedy film that puts a hilarious spin on second chances. Rather than launching as a multi-episode series, the project arrives as a standalone 98-minute movie, offering viewers a quick and entertaining watch packed with nostalgia, awkward reunions, and unexpected twists.

The story follows a group of former high school seniors whose final year was abruptly cut short when a devastating tornado struck in 2008. Now in their mid-30s, they are forced to return to North Meadows High School and finally complete their education. As the former classmates find themselves back in the classroom, old friendships resurface, forgotten rivalries return, and long-buried secrets begin to emerge.

The premise feels like a grown-up version of The Breakfast Club, imagining what might happen if former students had to relive their high school days decades later. The trailer teases plenty of cringe-worthy moments and heartfelt comedy as the characters struggle to fit into a world they thought they had left behind forever.

The film stars John Reynolds, Sofia Black-D'Elia, Carmen Christopher, Jo Firestone, and Gary Richardson, alongside Rudy Pankow, Topher Grace, Jackie Cruz, Ana Gasteyer, Patti Harrison, and Zach Cherry. Reynolds also co-wrote the screenplay with filmmaker Marty Schousboe, who directs the project.

With the tagline, "High school was hard enough the first time," Never Change looks set to deliver a fun mix of nostalgia and comedy when it premieres on Hulu on June 17, 2026. For anyone who has ever wondered what it would be like to get a second shot at senior year, this comedy might be the perfect summer watch.
