The trailer launch of Welcome To The Jungle in Mumbai turned into a full-blown entertainment spectacle as filmmaker Ahmed Khan addressed the media alongside the film’s massive ensemble cast. The event, already buzzing due to the film’s scale and star power, became even more talked about after Ahmed Khan delivered an unfiltered, high-energy tribute to his key collaborators.
Speaking at the launch, Ahmed Khan did not hold back while praising the team behind the ambitious comedy entertainer. He said, “I want to acknowledge my brother, Akshay; he has been a huge support to me in this. And I’d just say that the reason we are standing here today—the reason this film got made—is because of my elder brother.”
He further extended his gratitude towards producer Firoz Nadiadwala, emphasizing the sheer scale and financial backing required to mount a project of this magnitude. “A big round of applause for Firoz Bhai. To make a film like this, you don't just need pockets; you need deep pockets. And he just kept spending—the money kept flowing endlessly, like a waterfall. So, a big thank you to Firoz Bhai,” he added, drawing laughter and applause from the audience.
When asked about the film’s unusually large ensemble—reportedly featuring around 34 actors—Ahmed Khan revealed that the casting was almost beyond control due to the producer’s enthusiasm. “Actually, the problem was the opposite—I kept saying, ‘We don't need any more,’ but our producer, Firoz Bhai, kept saying, ‘Take this too, take that too—fill it all up,’” he said, highlighting the film’s chaotic but grand creative process.
Adding a humorous twist, Ahmed Khan described the film’s wild energy by saying, “You didn't ask this question, but the film is called Welcome to the Jungle. It is a jungle, yet there are no animals—well, except for Bruno—but we are all animals in this film.”
The statement quickly became a highlight of the launch event, perfectly capturing the film’s tone of controlled chaos and over-the-top comedy. With its massive ensemble cast including Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Jackie Shroff, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Johny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, and many more, the film is already being described as one of Bollywood’s biggest comedy spectacles.
Helmed by Ahmed Khan and produced by Firoz A. Nadiadwala, Rakesh Dang, and Vedant Vikaas Baali, Welcome To The Jungle is slated for a theatrical release on June 26, 2026. If the trailer launch energy is anything to go by, audiences can expect a full-blown riot of madness, music, and mayhem.
