Amid all the excitement surrounding Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, Yash shared one of his most personal moments at the film's Bengaluru trailer launch when he turned his attention away from cinema and towards his wife, Radhika Pandit. After speaking about the film's enormous scale, 200-day shoot and the sacrifices made by the cast and crew, the actor paused to acknowledge the person who stood beside him throughout the demanding journey.

Yash began with a candid confession that immediately brought warmth and laughter to the room. “I want to thank my wife,” he said before joking, “It's not easy to be my friend only. Okay. It's not easy to be associated with me and anyone to be with.” But beneath the humour was genuine appreciation for the support Radhika gave him while he pushed himself beyond his comfort zone for Toxic.

The actor admitted that the film demanded an extraordinary amount from him, both professionally and personally. “This particular film was very demanding and I have pushed myself beyond my comfort zone,” Yash said. From experimenting with different looks to committing a huge amount of time to the production, the project required him to remain deeply involved for an extended period. He revealed that the film's shooting stretched to around 200 days, making it one of the most demanding commitments of his career.

Yash explained that Radhika supported him through the difficulties that came with that schedule. “I think she has managed with a lot of difficulty. She used to travel. She's somehow been a big support for me. Thank you so much,” he said. His acknowledgement highlighted the reality behind a large-scale film—while audiences see the glamour of a trailer and the excitement of a theatrical release, the people closest to an actor often experience the long hours, travel and pressure that come with making it.

For Yash, Toxic was not just about pushing his performance but about pushing himself to create something meaningful. He said he wanted to move beyond his comfort zone with the right intention and deliver the right content. The film's multiple looks and demanding schedule required immense dedication, and his words suggested that the journey affected his personal life as much as his professional one.

His tribute to Radhika also fitted perfectly with the larger message of his speech: that Toxic was created through sacrifice, patience and a belief in something bigger than individual success. Earlier, Yash had spoken about Geetu Mohandas' passion and Venkat K. Narayana's unwavering support, and he now acknowledged the personal support system that helped him sustain the demanding process. “Nothing will go for waste,” he said, echoing a belief that kept him moving throughout the project.

Yash concluded his thoughts with a philosophy that he said guides him both personally and professionally: “Whatever we do in life, be honest and be truthful, whether it is relationship or whether it is work. Rest, God will bless me.” It was perhaps the simplest and most heartfelt line of his speech, particularly after he had just thanked his wife for standing beside him through one of the most challenging films of his career.

Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, directed by Geetu Mohandas and jointly produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash, features an ensemble cast including Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth. Shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, the ambitious gangster drama has been in production for an extensive period and is scheduled to release worldwide on August 26, 2026.

While Toxic may ultimately be remembered for its scale, performances and bold attempt to create an Indian film for a global audience, Yash's words at the trailer launch offered a glimpse of the personal sacrifices behind that ambition. And when he looked towards his wife and simply said, “She's somehow been a big support for me. Thank you so much,” it was a reminder that even the biggest cinematic dreams are often made possible by the people quietly standing behind them.
