Alia Bhatt is turning up the promotional heat for Don’t Be Shy as she unveils the film’s new single, ‘Re Bawri’, ahead of its much-awaited Prime Video premiere. Don’t Be Shy revolves around Shyamili ‘Shy’ Das, a 20-year-old who believes she has her life perfectly figured out. However, when circumstances take an unexpected turn, her carefully planned world begins to spiral beyond her control. The story follows her as she navigates uncertainty, friendships, relationships and the unpredictable twists that come with stepping beyond the life she thought she had mapped out for herself.
Written and directed by Sreeti Mukerji, the film is produced by Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt under Eternal Sunshine Productions, with Grishma Shah and Vikesh Bhutani of Chalkboard Entertainment serving as co-producers. At the centre of the film is a young ensemble led by Aarushi Bajaj, Piyush Khati, Bianca Arora and Ansh Duggal, marking an exciting introduction to these four performers.
