The Network has unveiled the first official trailer for its upcoming murder mystery series The Artist, promising a gripping tale set in the twilight of the Gilded Age.
The story centers on an eccentric, failing tycoon who hosts some of the era’s most famous personalities, including Thomas Edison, Edgar Degas, and Evelyn Nesbit. Amid the glamour, ambition, and intrigue, a shocking murder occurs by night’s end, sparking a historical whodunit that will unravel secrets, lies, and hidden rivalries.
The star-studded ensemble cast features Mandy Patinkin, Janet McTeer, Danny Huston, Hank Azaria, Patti Lupone, Katherine McPhee, Clark Gregg, Ever Anderson, Zachary Quinto, and more. The series promises to transport viewers into the opulent yet treacherous world of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, blending history with suspenseful storytelling.
The Artist is created, written, and directed by filmmaker Aram Rappaport, who brings his signature cinematic vision to the series. The show will be released in two parts, with Part 1 streaming on November 27, 2025 (Thanksgiving Day) and Part 2 on December 25, 2025 (Christmas Day).
