Two hearts, a thousand emotions, and a touch of vintage magic — that’s the promise Rana Daggubati made to fans as he unveiled the teaser for Kaantha’s upcoming songs Ammadive and Kanmani Nee. The actor and producer took to social media to share the update, calling these tracks “the heartbeat of Kaantha.”
The brief clips, running just 17 seconds each, instantly transport viewers to the soulful streets of 1950s Madras. From hazy moonlit drives to intimate close-ups of characters lost in thought, every frame evokes romance wrapped in nostalgia. The atmospheric visuals, backed by the film’s hauntingly melodic score, give fans a hint of the emotional depth director Selvamani Selvaraj is crafting.
Co-produced by Rana’s Spirit Media and Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films, Kaantha is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated films of the season. Dulquer steps into the role of legendary musician M.K. Thyagaraja Bhagavathar, tracing a story of fame, love, and redemption in post-independence India. Bhagyashri Borse joins him as the leading lady, adding a delicate spark to this period-inspired romance.
Rana’s tweet, which quickly became a buzz across film circles, highlighted the film’s intent — an emotional symphony of music, memory, and meaning. The two songs, Ammadive and Kanmani Nee, premiere on October 22 at 4:30 PM, setting the stage for Kaantha’s theatrical release on November 14, 2025.
With its nostalgic palette, evocative music, and cinematic devotion to an iconic era, Kaantha seems ready to charm both hearts and playlists alike.
