Warner Bros has dropped the first teaser for the highly anticipated, utterly decadent new adaptation of Emily Brontë’s literary classic, Wuthering Heights—and it’s anything but your grandmother’s period drama. Directed by the ever-audacious Emerald Fennell, this reimagining promises a wild, hyper-sensual take on the tortured love story between Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff, played by none other than Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi.
Set against the hauntingly beautiful backdrop of the Yorkshire moors, this version of Wuthering Heights oozes mood, madness, and melodrama. From the first frame, it’s clear that Fennell is turning the passion dial all the way up, delivering a visually rich, emotionally brutal, and unapologetically indulgent take on Brontë’s gothic tale of obsession, revenge, and wild, unrelenting love.
Joining Robbie and Elordi is a stellar supporting cast including Hong Chau, Shazad Latif, Alison Oliver, Martin Clunes, and Ewan Mitchell. Lavish sets, wind-swept hair, candlelit glances, and stormy outbursts abound, with every frame dripping in desire and danger.
With Fennell—best known for Promising Young Woman and Saltburn—at the helm, expect Wuthering Heights to be equal parts stunning and scandalous. It’s Brontë with bite, corsets with chaos, and romance with razor edges.
The film hits theaters just in time for Valentine’s Day, with a February 13th, 2026 release date. Mark your calendars—this one’s going to break hearts and burn barns.
