At an age when most are still discovering their paths, Harmanraai Singh Sehgal has already made his mark as one of India’s youngest film producers, building a name that stands for passion, creativity, and purpose. With every project, he’s proving that storytelling today is not just about what happens on screen—it’s about vision, innovation, and connection beyond it.
Coming from a family that always encouraged creativity, Harmanraai’s fascination with cinema began early. What started as admiration for films soon evolved into a deeper curiosity about how stories are crafted and brought to life. Determined to turn this passion into a profession, he pursued a master’s degree in film producing from Whistling Woods International, founded by Subhash Ghai, where he honed his technical understanding and artistic sensibilities.
Soon after, Harmanraai took a bold step many only dream of—launching his own banner, HSS Production. As the youngest producer to start an independent production house at such an early age, he has built a creative ecosystem where new ideas thrive. Under this banner, he delivered projects that reflect his distinct cinematic voice, including the music video “Chhote Bas Kar”, which was praised for its vibrant visuals and relatable storytelling.
His documentary ‘Friends of Disabled’ gained national recognition after winning NDTV’s Short Film/Documentary Contest. , showcasing his ability to blend emotional depth with powerful social messages. More recently, his production “Rocketship”, featuring actress Isha Koppikar, has further strengthened his reputation as a young visionary with the drive to take Indian cinema to new heights.
Despite the challenges of youth and industry competition, Harmanraai continues to push boundaries fearlessly. His belief that “films should move people, not just entertain them” defines the kind of stories he wants to tell—ones that carry emotion, relevance, and heart.
As India’s youngest producer and an emerging voice in modern filmmaking, Harmanraai Singh Sehgal represents a new generation of storytellers—bold, passionate, and unafraid to create beyond conventions.
