Prepare for a rousing dose of patriotism — Farhan Akhtar is all set to march onto the big screen as Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, PVC, in 120 Bahadur, a stirring war drama based on the real-life bravery of India’s Charlie Company during the 1962 Indo-China War. Directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai, the film promises to be an emotional and high-adrenaline tribute to courage, brotherhood, and sacrifice.
The makers are gearing up for a grand pre-release push, kicking off promotions with an event in Lucknow on 28 October 2025, where Farhan will join singer Sukhwinder Singh and the ensemble cast to unveil the film’s first track — a powerful war cry anthem titled “Dada Kishan Ki Jai.” With Sukhwinder’s commanding vocals and Farhan’s commanding presence, the anthem aims to set the tone for the film’s spirit: “Hum Peechhe Nahin Hatenge” — We do not retreat.
Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under Excel Entertainment, in collaboration with Amit Chandrra’s Trigger Happy Studios, 120 Bahadur hits theatres on 21 November 2025.
If the early buzz is any indication, 120 Bahadur is shaping up to be more than just another war film — it’s a heartfelt salute to the 120 soldiers who stood their ground against impossible odds. And when Farhan Akhtar takes the lead, you can be sure the battle cry will echo long after the credits roll.
