Excel Entertainment has dropped a powerful new poster for its upcoming Hindi war drama 120 Bahadur, building anticipation ahead of the trailer launch. Sharing the poster on social media, the production house wrote: “The mountains witnessed their unyielding courage, it’s time to witness their story. #120BahadurTrailer out in 120 mins at 2.07PM. Stay tuned. #EkSauBeesBahadur.”
The film, directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai, stars Farhan Akhtar as Major Shaitan Singh Bhati and Raashii Khanna as his wife, Shagun Kanwari Singh. Set against the backdrop of the Battle of Rezang La (1962), the film chronicles one of India’s most heroic moments in military history. During this battle, 120 soldiers of the Charlie Company, 13 Kumaon Regiment—comprising entirely of Ahir soldiers—stood their ground against a 3,000-strong Chinese army, inflicting heavy casualties despite being vastly outnumbered. Major Shaitan Singh was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra, India’s highest military honor, for his unmatched valor.
The trailer for 120 Bahadur will be unveiled later today by superstar Yash (of KGF fame) on his social media handles, adding star power to one of 2025’s most awaited war films.
Produced by Excel Entertainment and Trigger Happy Studios, 120 Bahadur is slated for a theatrical release on November 21, 2025. The film features a strong ensemble cast including Sparsh Walia, Ajinkya Deo, Eijaz Khan, Vivan Bhatena, Ankit Siwach, Ashutosh Shukla, and Dhanveer Singh, among others.
However, the production has faced some controversy, with members of the Yadav community urging the filmmakers to rename the project to 120 Veer Ahir, reflecting the ethnic identity of the soldiers who fought at Rezang La. Despite the debate, the film’s release remains highly anticipated for its patriotic narrative, powerful performances, and stirring portrayal of courage under fire.
