Apple TV+ has officially released the first teaser for Pluribus, the highly anticipated new series from Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan. Known for his masterful storytelling and complex characters, Gilligan seems ready to bring audiences another thought-provoking world—this time with a sci-fi twist.
Pluribus stars Better Call Saul breakout Rhea Seehorn, alongside Carlos Manuel Vesga, Karolina Wydra, Miriam Shor, and Samba Schutte. The series centers on “the most miserable person on Earth,” who faces the bizarre task of saving humanity from happiness itself. Set in a strange and shifting version of present-day Albuquerque, New Mexico, the show promises to blend Gilligan’s signature grounded realism with dark humor and speculative worldbuilding.
The writing team features an impressive lineup, including Gordon Smith, Alison Tatlock, Vera Blasi, Jenn Carroll, Jonny Gomez, and Ariel Levine—all familiar names from Gilligan’s previous acclaimed projects.
