Studiocanal has unveiled the official trailer for Another Day, the upcoming French drama also known by its original French title Garance. Starring Adèle Exarchopoulos in the lead role, the film follows a gifted young actress whose talent and magnetic personality have not yet translated into the recognition she desperately seeks. Set against the backdrop of Paris, Another Day promises an intimate and emotionally charged story about ambition, addiction, relationships and the difficult road towards finding oneself.
Exarchopoulos plays Garance, a young actress trying to make ends meet while living in a small Paris apartment. Despite her undeniable talent, life feels increasingly overwhelming as professional uncertainty, complicated relationships and mounting anxiety begin to take their toll. Alcohol gradually becomes her escape, offering temporary comfort while quietly taking a stronger hold over her life. What begins as a coping mechanism eventually pushes Garance towards a dangerous confrontation with her own vulnerability.
The film takes audiences through an eight-year period in Garance’s life, tracing the changes that shape her emotionally and personally. As her drinking increases and the consequences become harder to ignore, the shadow of death begins to loom over her journey. Yet Another Day is not simply a story about addiction.
