20th Century Studios has dropped the second official trailer for its upcoming animated feature Predator: Killer of Killers, a bold and brutal reimagining of the iconic sci-fi franchise. Directed by Dan Trachtenberg, who previously helmed Prey (2022), this action-packed anthology promises to explore humanity’s fiercest warriors across different eras — all of whom find themselves hunted by the galaxy’s deadliest predator.
The film features a compelling voice cast including Lindsay LaVanchy, Louis Ozawa, Rick Gonzalez, and Michael Biehn. Set across three distinct historical timelines, the story follows a Viking warrior mother leading her son on a vengeful path, a ninja in feudal Japan locked in a deadly conflict with his Samurai brother, and a WWII fighter pilot confronting an unknown terror in the skies. Despite their unmatched skills, each of these killers is no match for the universe’s most ruthless hunter — the Predator.
Written by Micho Robert Rutare, from stories by Rutare and director Trachtenberg, the film offers a unique approach to the Predator legacy, blending genre storytelling with visceral animation. The characters are based on the original concept created by Jim Thomas and John Thomas, preserving the franchise’s roots while introducing bold new narratives and styles.
Predator: Killer of Killers is slated for a June 6, 2025 release and is already generating buzz for its ambitious storytelling, distinctive animation style, and intense action. As the Predator saga continues to evolve, this anthology entry may be its most daring yet — redefining what it means to be both hunter and hunted.
