Bigg Boss 20 has witnessed another eviction, with Rihti Tiwari, daughter of politician and actor Manoj Tiwari, exiting the reality show. After her eviction, Rihti opened up about her journey, the controversy involving Vikas, Salman Khan’s reaction to her transformation and her equation with Yung DSA (Harsh Vijay Machare), the 22-year-old rapper and hip-hop artist from Pune who is also a contestant on the show. And if her words are anything to go by, Rihti is walking out of the house with plenty of lessons—and a few emotional scars.
Speaking about the feedback she received for her behaviour inside the house, Rihti did not try to dodge responsibility. Reflecting on the incident involving Vikas, she admitted that she made mistakes and had already addressed them while she was still inside the house. “I made some major mistakes in there. I have sincerely apologized to the people involved, and—more importantly—to myself. Do you think I don't realize my mistakes? I reflect on them constantly,” Rihti said. She added that her focus after the controversy was to work on herself and show viewers who she really is, rather than allow one incident to define her entire personality.
Her transformation after the Vikas incident was also noticed by Salman Khan, who praised the dramatic change in her behaviour while also pointing out that the circumstances surrounding the relationship were flawed. Rihti acknowledged that her reaction was wrong but believes making a mistake should not mean losing the opportunity to prove yourself again. “Look, I believe everyone deserves a second chance. I know I made a huge mistake; I didn't behave well. But I also know that it’s human nature—people can make mistakes,” she said. Rihti also revealed how much Salman’s words meant to her, particularly when he suggested that she deserved another chance.
However, the emotional part of Rihti’s journey was not limited to the Vikas controversy. She was also asked about her close bond with Yung DSA (Harsh Vijay Machare) and whether spending so much time with him and his group ultimately became a mistake. Yung DSA, a young rapper and hip-hop artist from Pune, had developed a close equation with Rihti inside the house, making his decision to nominate her particularly difficult for her. Rihti admitted that being nominated by someone she considered close did hurt, but she refused to blame the friendship itself for her eviction.
“Look, I don't think getting close to anyone there was a mistake. It’s a game where everyone plays for themselves. If I sat there expecting things from people, that would have been my biggest mistake,” Rihti explained. Talking specifically about Yung DSA, she added, “Of course, it hurt that someone I spent so much time with—someone I called my brother—nominated me.” Her words make it clear that the nomination stung, but Rihti also understands that Bigg Boss is ultimately a game where friendships, alliances and loyalties can change in the blink of an eye.
Despite the disappointment, Rihti said she did not want to carry bitterness out of the house. She admitted that she felt things could have played out differently, but also accepted that she had entered Bigg Boss knowing that anyone could turn against her. “I went in expecting that anyone could turn against me at any moment,” she said, adding that she would have been far more affected had she entered the show expecting everyone to remain loyal to her. For Rihti, the bond with Yung DSA may have ended with a painful nomination, but she does not consider getting close to him or anyone else her biggest mistake.
The eviction has clearly left Rihti emotional, especially because she had started feeling at home inside the Bigg Boss 20 house. “I really wanted to stay; that house had truly become a home to me,” she revealed. Yet, instead of ending her journey on a bitter note, Rihti chose to leave it to destiny. “I believe strongly in destiny—Har Har Mahadev—and I am exactly where I need to be right now,” she said. Whether her eviction marks the end of her Bigg Boss chapter or becomes the start of something bigger remains to be seen, but Rihti Tiwari is clearly leaving the show with a changed perspective, a few hard lessons and plenty of unfinished emotions.
