The wait for Naga Chaitanya’s much-anticipated pan-Indian adventure Vrushakarma just got a little more exciting. Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra has unveiled a striking new poster along with the film’s worldwide theatrical release date, confirming that the mythical spectacle will arrive in cinemas on December 4, 2026. Promising a mix of supernatural mystery, action and folklore, the film is already shaping up as one of the more ambitious Telugu releases of the year.

The newly released poster leans heavily into the film’s mysterious and mythical world, perfectly matching the makers’ promise of a spectacle unlike anything seen before. Naga Chaitanya takes centre stage as Arjun, a treasure hunter whose journey appears to take him far beyond an ordinary search for riches. With an adventure steeped in supernatural elements, Vrushakarma looks set to take audiences into a world where ancient mysteries and dangerous forces collide.

Directed by Karthik Varma Dandu, best known for the successful horror thriller Virupaksha, the film reunites the director with several members of his creative team on another large-scale genre project. This time, however, the canvas is considerably bigger, with the makers aiming for a VFX-heavy supernatural action adventure. The screenplay comes from acclaimed filmmaker Sukumar, adding another major creative name to a project that already has plenty of expectations surrounding it.

Naga Chaitanya is expected to appear in a rugged new avatar for the film, sporting a bearded look and long hair that fits the adventurous nature of his character. Meenakshi Chaudhary stars opposite him, while Laapataa Ladies fame Sparsh Shrivastava takes on an important role in the story. Jayaram and Satya are also part of the supporting cast, giving the film a strong ensemble to complement its central mystery and action.

The technical team further adds to the excitement, with B Ajaneesh Loknath composing the music. Produced by Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra and Sukumar Writings, Vrushakarma is being mounted as a high-budget pan-Indian film. The combination of mythology, folklore, supernatural intrigue and action gives the project a distinct identity, while the involvement of Sukumar and the Virupaksha creative team is likely to keep genre fans particularly interested.

With Vrushakarma now locked for a worldwide theatrical release on December 4, 2026, Naga Chaitanya is heading into the year-end period with a film that promises scale, mystery and plenty of visual spectacle. The makers have clearly chosen to keep the central secrets close to the chest for now, but the poster and release announcement have done their job — they have left audiences wondering what exactly lies behind Arjun’s mysterious adventure. If the film delivers on its mythical promise, Vrushakarma could turn out to be a major big-screen experience this December.
