Television actress Sonakshi Batra recently attended the special screening of Goonj, the much-awaited project directed by popular actor Fahmaan Khan. Known for her roles in Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha and Jagadhatri, Sonakshi turned up to support her friend and celebrate the launch of his latest venture.
Speaking about her presence at the screening, Sonakshi emphasized the importance of standing by friends during significant milestones in their careers. “A friend's project—his short film—has just launched, and naturally, I am here to support him. Whenever a friend has a project coming out, you just feel compelled to stand by them in everything—their achievements, their successes, and every step of their journey,” she shared.
The actress also expressed excitement about experiencing the film alongside Fahmaan Khan. “I am truly excited to be here to watch the film alongside him—to actually sit and watch it with him. It gives me the chance to offer him my immediate, fresh opinion and feedback—to tell him exactly what I thought of the movie,” she said, adding that watching a project with friends creates a special bond and allows one to witness their emotions firsthand.
Sonakshi further reflected on the joy of sharing such moments together. “It’s a wonderful feeling, isn't it, when friends sit together to watch something? We get to observe their reactions firsthand and get a sense of what’s going on in their hearts. You can usually get at least a slight inkling of whether they’re enjoying it or not. So, I’m simply happy to be here, supporting him and watching the film right there beside him,” she added.
With Goonj generating curiosity among audiences and industry insiders alike, Sonakshi's heartfelt support for Fahmaan Khan highlighted the strong friendships and camaraderie that often exist behind the scenes in the entertainment industry.
