Maddock Films is back with another quirky rom-com, and this time, it's a blend of love, laughs, and a wild time loop! The much-anticipated trailer of ‘Bhool Chuk Maaf’, starring Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi, has just dropped, and it promises an entertaining ride through the narrow lanes of Varanasi with a twist you didn’t see coming. Slated for a theatrical release on 9 May 2025, the film is directed and written by Karan Sharma and produced by Dinesh Vijan in collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios.
In the trailer, we meet Ranjan (Rajkummar Rao), a hopeful young man desperately trying to win the heart of Titli (Wamiqa Gabbi) and her traditional family by securing a government job. Just when everything seems to be falling into place—the date is set, the prayers are said, and dreams are taking flight—Ranjan finds himself stuck in a bizarre and maddening time loop that resets every day before the wedding. And he’s the only one who knows it’s happening.
The setup spirals into absolute chaos as Ranjan scrambles to escape the loop while keeping his impending marriage—and sanity—intact. Titli, unaware of the repeated resets, becomes both his biggest motivation and greatest challenge. This loop creates a string of hilarious mishaps, miscommunications, and emotional revelations, all set against the vibrant, culturally rich backdrop of Varanasi.
With a stellar ensemble including Sanjay Mishra, Seema Pahwa, Zakir Hussain, Raghubir Yadav, Ishtiyak Khan, and Anubha Fatehpuria, Bhool Chuk Maaf looks like a perfect mix of heartfelt moments and laugh-out-loud comedy.
