Actress-turned-nutritionist Claudia Ciesla is on a mission — and it goes far beyond film sets and television screens. In an exclusive conversation, the Bigg Boss alum opened up about her transition from Bollywood starlet to wellness advocate, and the growing impact of her health initiative, Claudia’s Concept.
"I opened a company and brand called Claudia's Concept. As a nutritionist, I want to inspire people to live better, healthier lives," said Claudia. Passionate and articulate, she spoke about her holistic approach to wellness, one that includes not just food, but also sleep, exercise, and stress management. "Sometimes it's the small changes — changing the meal timings, portion size, or even getting better sleep — that can make a big difference."
Claudia’s goal is ambitious yet grounded in reality: “My mission is to help 1 million people change their lifestyle through simple nutrition.” Citing India’s rising rates of obesity and diabetes, she emphasized the urgent need for awareness. “India is the diabetes capital of the world — this is not great news. Even after COVID, while people have become more health-conscious, there's still a long way to go. I want to be part of that change.”
Reflecting on her early fame, Claudia fondly recalled her stint on Bigg Boss, which introduced her to Indian audiences. “That platform gave me my first break and helped me make a mark here,” she said. She also reminisced about her Bollywood debut in the song Balma, calling it a turning point in her career: “Working with Akshay Kumar sir was like a dream. Watching him on set was like a masterclass. Even today, people remember me as the ‘Balma girl.’”
Now, as the author of the wellness book Keep Eating Keep Losing and a sought-after lifestyle coach, Claudia is redefining success on her own terms. With Claudia’s Concept, she aims not just to promote healthy living — but to make it accessible, practical, and sustainable for everyone.
