The makers of the upcoming magnum opus Nagabandham have dropped their first single, “Namo Re,” and it’s already making waves for its scale, spirituality, and visual grandeur. Released on Sunday by Abhishek Pictures, the track offers audiences a first musical glimpse into the epic world the film promises to build. Blending powerful devotional tones with cinematic orchestration, the song hints at a story deeply rooted in mythology and cultural symbolism.

Vocally driven by singers Sindhuja Srinivasan and Aishwarya Daruri, “Namo Re” carries a rich spiritual resonance. The music, jointly composed by Junaid Kumar and Abhe, combines traditional devotional elements with a modern cinematic score. The result is a track that feels both timeless and grand, setting the tone for a narrative that promises mythology, devotion, and spectacle.

What truly elevates the song is its massive visual choreography. Designed by renowned choreographer Ganesh Acharya along with Shrasti Verma, the sequence features nearly 1,000 dancers performing a vibrant mix of Indian classical and folk dance forms. The large-scale choreography turns the song into a celebration of India’s diverse cultural heritage, making it a visually rich moment that blends storytelling with tradition.

The film itself is written and directed by Abhishek Nama and features Virat Karrna in the lead role. Joining him is an impressive ensemble cast including Nabha Natesh, Aishwarya Menon, Daksha Nagarkar, Mahesh Manjrekar, Jagapathi Babu, and Murali Sharma in prominent roles. With such a diverse lineup, the film is expected to combine star power with a layered mythological narrative.

Earlier this year, the project grabbed attention when Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu unveiled the teaser titled “World of Nagabandham” on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri. The teaser, set in the 1750s, showcased sweeping Himalayan landscapes, haunting temple corridors, and visually striking sequences without a single line of dialogue. One of the standout images featured a majestic cobra guarding hidden treasure — a symbolic reference to the ancient Nagabandham ritual that drives the story.

Presented by Lakshmi Ira and Devansh Nama, and produced by Kishore Annapureddy and Nishitha Annapureddy under Abhishek Pictures and NIK Studios, the film is being mounted on a grand scale. With its blend of mythology, action, and spiritual storytelling, Nagabandham is gearing up for a big Summer 2026 release across Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
