The much-awaited trailer of The Family Man Season 3 has finally dropped, sending waves of excitement through fans who have been eagerly waiting for Srikant Tiwari’s return. Created by the powerhouse duo Raj & DK, the acclaimed spy thriller once again follows the double life of Srikant (Manoj Bajpayee) a middle-class man who balances his domestic chaos with his high-stakes job as an intelligence officer in the Threat Assessment and Surveillance Cell (TASC).
But this time, the universe of The Family Man expands with a striking new addition Nimrat Kaur, who steps into the story as Mira, a character that promises to shake things up in unexpected ways.
At the trailer launch, Nimrat couldn’t hide her excitement about joining a show she’s long admired. “They say you don’t choose where you’re born, you don’t choose where you die, and you don’t choose your family. But this time, I got to choose my family and I couldn’t have chosen a better one,” she said, radiating affection for her new on-screen family and her collaborators, Raj & DK.
Talking about her character, Nimrat offered an intriguing glimpse into Mira’s persona. “There’s nothing more fun than playing evil — and not having to go to jail for it!” she laughed. “You can do whatever you want. In Raj and DK’s universe, you really can get away with anything murder, plotting, scheming and still have an amazing wardrobe while you do it. Mira does all of that in high heels, with flamboyance and sex appeal. She’s evil, but in couture.”
Nimrat also reflected on what it meant to become a part of a series she’s admired for years. “As a fan of The Family Man, to now be part of it is truly a bucket-list experience,” she shared. “You watch a show, you love it, you connect with its characters and then suddenly, you find yourself inside that world. It’s the most thrilling experience an actor can have.”
With Raj & DK’s trademark mix of humor, emotion, and high-octane espionage, The Family Man 3 is already shaping up to be one of the most anticipated streaming events of the year. Starring Manoj Bajpayee, Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, and now Nimrat Kaur and Jaideep Ahlawat the series premieres on Amazon Prime Video on November 21.
