The trailer of The Family Man Season 3 has finally dropped and with it, the excitement has reached new heights. The hit Amazon Prime Video series, created by the visionary duo Raj & DK, brings back Manoj Bajpayee as Srikant Tiwari the relatable, conflicted intelligence officer who has become one of India’s most beloved characters on screen.
At the trailer launch, Manoj spoke passionately about what makes Srikant so special not just to audiences, but to him as an actor. “Srikant Is Everyman — That’s His Strength”
“I personally love playing this character,” Manoj shared. “Because it has everything about being human all the faults, all the advantages and disadvantages that every person has. I think that’s why people connect with him so deeply.”
He continued, “Srikant Tiwari feels like everyone’s father, husband, friend, or colleague. He’s any man traveling in the metro, or sitting in his car stuck in traffic. That’s the biggest strength of the character — his ordinariness.”
Manoj reflected on doing three different roles this year, Jugnuma, Inspector Zende and now this. He said, “That’s what I’m passionate about being an actor who can explore different genres, work with diverse directors who each have their own vision of cinema,” he said. “It’s a challenge to fit into all these interpretations and opinions, and still come out feeling happy that you gave your best.”
He added with a smile, “That’s what gives me a kick — that sense of joy when you know you’ve done something new, and done it well.”
Season 3 once again comes from the creative powerhouse Raj & DK, known for their distinct blend of humor, tension, and human storytelling. The new season brings Srikant back into action — balancing high-stakes intelligence missions with his endlessly complicated family life.
