Apple TV+ has released the official trailer for its upcoming dramedy series Margo's Got Money Troubles, offering a first look at a bold and unconventional story about survival, internet fame, and modern motherhood. The series is based on the bestselling novel by Rufi Thorpe and brings a mix of humor and heartfelt storytelling to the streaming platform.

The show stars Elle Fanning in the lead role as Margo, a recent college dropout and aspiring writer who suddenly finds herself struggling to raise a newborn while dealing with growing financial pressure. In a desperate attempt to make ends meet, she starts an account on OnlyFans, using an unusual strategy inspired by her father’s former career as a professional wrestler.

Margo’s estranged father, played by Nick Offerman, becomes an unexpected source of advice as she navigates the strange world of internet fame. Following his theatrical wrestling style, Margo adopts a quirky online persona and begins creating content while pretending to be an alien. What begins as a desperate financial decision soon becomes surprisingly successful, forcing her to question the true cost of online popularity.

The series also features a powerhouse supporting cast including Michelle Pfeiffer as Margo’s mother, along with Nicole Kidman, Marcia Gay Harden, Greg Kinnear, Michael Angarano, Rico Nasty, and Lindsey Normington. The ensemble cast adds depth to the story, blending comedy, drama, and emotional moments throughout the narrative.

The show is created and written by acclaimed television producer David E. Kelley, known for hit series like Big Little Lies and Ally McBeal. Episodes are directed by filmmakers Dearbhla Walsh, Kate Herron, and Alice Seabright, bringing a dynamic creative team to the project.

Blending humor with emotional family drama, Margo's Got Money Troubles explores the realities of modern digital culture, personal ambition, and the challenges of raising a child while chasing dreams. The highly anticipated series is set to premiere on April 15, 2026, exclusively on Apple TV+.
