Apple TV+ has released the first official teaser for its upcoming action-thriller series The Last Frontier, giving audiences a chilling glimpse into the unforgiving wilderness of Alaska and the chaos that’s about to erupt. Headlined by Jason Clarke, the series boasts a powerhouse ensemble including Dominic Cooper, Haley Bennett, Simone Kessell, Dallas Goldtooth, Tait Blum, Alfre Woodard, and Clifton Collins Jr.
Set in the harsh and isolated terrains of Alaska, The Last Frontier follows Frank Remnick (played by Clarke), the lone U.S. marshal overseeing a quiet and rugged outpost. His tranquil jurisdiction is shattered when a prison transport plane crashes, unleashing a horde of dangerous convicts into the wilderness. As Remnick scrambles to protect the community he’s sworn to serve, he uncovers unsettling clues that suggest the crash was not an accident, but the first move in a deadly, calculated conspiracy.
The series is created and written by Jon Bokenkamp (creator of The Blacklist) and Richard D’Ovidio (The Call), with additional writing by Melissa Glenn. Direction duties are shared among John Curran, Dennie Gordon, Jessica Lowrey, and Sam Hargrave, promising a mix of intense character drama and high-stakes action.
